What principles should be followed in divination?

People usually turn to divination because they have encountered unsolvable mysteries or need resolutions. Since there are issues at hand, the hope is that divination results can provide assistance. Therefore, accurate results are crucial. The process of divination requires an understanding of its principles. Only by firmly remembering these principles can errors be avoided and more accurate results obtained to help the person seeking divination. Regardless of the type of divination or method used, the following points should be adhered to or noted:

Firstly, during divination, one must focus solely on the person or situation being divined about, without any other distracting thoughts. Even if the purpose is to reveal hidden truths, obtaining an accurate result can also build a good reputation for future endeavors.

Secondly, it is advisable not to perform divination after 11 p.m. or in excessively noisy environments, as this can affect one's mental state. Additionally, there are certain things that should not be divined, such as matters already determined in one's heart, and activities that are not righteous.

Thirdly, one should be well-rested and alert during divination, so it is important to have a good night's sleep the previous night and avoid engaging in chaotic activities. Also, remember to wash hands after using the restroom to avoid bringing bad luck.

Finally, divination should only be sought when there are doubts or confusion, and each divination should only focus on one matter, without seeking multiple answers.
