The Luo Gongyuan 罗公远
Paul PengShare
Luo Gongyuan, also known as Luo Siyuan, was a native of Jiulong Mountain in Pengzhou (present-day Pengxian County, Sichuan Province) during the reign of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty; some records also say he was from Ezhou.
He traveled between Qingcheng Mountain and Luochuan, leaving traces of his Taoist practices. He wrote Annotations on the True Scripture of the Nine Immortals of Dragon and Tiger (also titled Scripture of the Nine Immortals by the Heavenly True Venerable), a one-volume work that circulated in the world.

This book was included in the Fangfa (Methods) category of the Dongzhen (True Grotto) section in the Taoist Canon (Daozang).
