Divination of the 64 Hexagrams from the I Ching Lot 23

Hexagram Name:
Bo Hexagram [Middling to Inauspicious Hexagram] Halt in Accordance with the Trend

Image Interpretation:
A magpie, encountering nightfall, roosts in the forest, unaware that an eagle is already there. Though they dwell in the same place, ill will grows in their hearts. If one draws this hexagram, disputes and troubles will not be trivial. This hexagram is an overlap of different trigrams (Kun below and Gen above). Five yin lines lie below, with one yang line above—yin energy flourishes while yang energy stands alone; a high mountain is attached to the earth. Both images signify peeling and falling away, hence the name "Bo Hexagram" (Stripping Hexagram). This hexagram represents the dominance of yin over yang, metaphorically indicating that petty people gain power, virtuous individuals fall into hardship, and undertakings decline.

Career:
Fortune is unfavorable, and this is the general trend. One can only pause actions in accordance with the times, wait calmly for changes, and must not take risks. Actively create conditions to strengthen one’s capabilities, remain cautious and forbearing, and avoid associating with petty people. The time when fortune turns and career success is achieved is not far off.

Business:
Having declined from a peak into a downturn, it has entered a period of stagnation. It is necessary to carefully summarize experiences and lessons, carry out rectification, and above all, not stake everything on a single venture. Once a favorable trend returns, one can rise again smoothly in line with the situation.

Pursuit of Fame:
The possibility of success is not high. It is not advisable to insist on forcing it. Instead, one should continue to create conditions, strive to improve oneself, enrich one's ability to deal with the world, enhance one's strength, and wait for the opportunity to make a comeback.

Travel:
It is better to postpone. One can set out after making thorough preparations.

Marriage:
Extreme caution is required. Do not proceed casually unless the match is truly perfect. Both parties should pay attention to maintaining family harmony.

Decision-Making:
Life is full of twists and turns, often falling into unfavorable situations or even desperate straits. However, one can turn despair into hope. As long as one calmly analyzes the situation and struggles tenaciously, one will completely change one’s fate and achieve good results, earning the admiration of others. The key is not to rush for success, especially not to take risks. One must adapt to the times and guard against framing by petty people.
