One of the Sixty-Four Hexagrams: Tian Feng Gou Hexagram: Gou Hexagram [Upper Hexagram] Wind Under Heaven

Hexagram Name:
Gou Hexagram [Upper Hexagram] Wind Under Heaven

Image Interpretation:
Meeting a friend in a foreign land fills one with joy; it should be known that luck and blessings are doubled. From this moment onward, you will enter a phase of smooth fortune, and troubles will surely not bother you anymore. This hexagram is a combination of different trigrams (Xun below and Qian above). Qian represents heaven, and Xun represents wind. With wind blowing under the heaven, spreading across the earth, yin and yang interact, and all things thrive. The Gou (gǒu) Hexagram is the opposite of the Guai Hexagram, and they are mutual "Zong Gua" (reverse hexagrams). "Gou" is equivalent to "Gou", meaning the encounter of yin and yang. However, with five yang lines and one yin line, their coexistence cannot last long.

Career:
It conforms to the current times and follows the sequence of seasons. Yet, there is a potential crisis, as yin and yang are not in harmony. It is essential to rely on those who are strong, establish various connections to enhance your influence, prevent petty people from gaining advantages, and strive for an improvement in the situation. All matters should be prepared early; wait for the opportune moment, and take action immediately once it arrives.

Business:
The market is shifting from a booming state to decline. It is wise to withdraw early, for forcing development will bring danger. There is no assistance from upright individuals, while petty people are secretly scheming. In this regard, you must maintain a clear mind, seek reliable partners, endure patiently to wait for the right time, and plan for the re-development of business activities.

Pursuit of Fame:
Your personality is not very sociable, and you have an overly high opinion of yourself inwardly, which inevitably leaves you in a difficult situation with unfulfilled aspirations. You should turn to sincere and upright people, and with their support, you will achieve success.

Travel:
There will be difficulties. Although there will be no major disasters, you will receive no help.

Romance and Marriage:
Strictly examine the moral character of the other party to avoid getting involved in a "love triangle" dispute. If husband and wife treat each other with sincerity, they can turn danger into safety.

Decision-Making:
It is auspicious. You can develop smoothly in a favorable environment, but you must never act recklessly, lest it leads to the opposite of what you desire. Secondly, you should always be on guard against frame-ups by petty people around you. For this reason, you should stop evil before it gains momentum; it is better to be isolated than to associate with petty people.
