Improvement through Obtaining Qi in Taoism

Taoism focuses on the cultivation and application of "Qi", believing that through practice, one can stimulate the potential of the human body, making it healthier and prolonging life.

Taoists believe that the body will improve after obtaining "Qi". The meridians, internal organs gradually become unobstructed, and internal dampness and cold are expelled outward. During this process, the physical constitution begins to improve, some physical problems such as sub-health conditions start to improve, and the three treasures of vitality, spirit, and essence are constantly replenished. One eats happily every day, has smooth bowel movements, sleeps comfortably, and desires gradually decrease.

When the body becomes unobstructed, healthy, and improved, one will be full of gratitude for the people and things around, and full of hope for the future. During each internal practice, one will feel happy, delighted, and enjoy it, unwilling to exit that state. At this time, the body surface seems to have a Qi shield, and the entire person is wrapped in Qi. The small universe of the body is connected to the external universe, and one slowly perceives that being in Qi is like a fish in water. When the Qi path is opened, the primordial Qi will continuously swirl and enter the body, improving the constitution, and the body will become increasingly light and free, and the Qi in the dantian will also be continuously purified and compressed.

Obtaining Qi is also an internal observation practice. In addition to the cultivation of the correct method, one also needs the guidance of the mental method, slowly integrating observation and awareness into work and life with a peaceful and inactive heart.
