Cultivation Chant of Spells and Curses
The Supreme Fourfold Radiance, through nine gates essence unfolds,
Ears and eyes pierce the profound, reaching truth, touching the divine.
At the platform of the heavens, flowing energy harmonizes and balances,
Proud maidens in cloud-like grace, pupils bright with wisdom,
Brilliance shines dazzling and clear, a hundred dimensions purified.
Preserving harmony in the upper origin, wandering through ninefold perfection,
The five organs take root, ears and eyes born anew.
The celestial platform, lush and pure, its pillars and beams unshaken.
The seven souls cleansed and refined, the three spirits serene and calm,
The crimson child carries the light, ever walking by my side.
Should any dare obscure my sight and hearing, the Supreme shall strike with flowing chimes,
All calamities vanquished, every wish fulfilled.

The body is the abode of the spirit, and the spirit is the essential vessel of the body. If one does not stabilize this "abode" to perfect the
Dao, nor cultivate the body to
nurture the spirit, then vital essence will dissipate into trivial things, and the wandering soul will undergo erratic changes—ultimately dissolving into the myriad forms of the world. Thus, one ought to constantly discipline oneself with [spiritual] focus. Therefore, it is necessary to maintain mindfulness of guarding the "divine vessel" (the body-spirit unity) and refine the essence of the Daoist heart; only then will all spirits (inner vital forces) be complete, and perverse energies be dispelled!
As recorded in The Supreme Divine Treasure Scripture:
"Rise early each day (rising early means awakening at the time of the rooster’s crow). Sit upright, facing east—alternatively, face southeast in spring and summer, or northwest in autumn and winter, whichever suits the season.
- First, rub your hands together and wipe your face thoroughly;
- Next, use the middle finger of your left hand to press upward from your eyebrows to your hairline, repeating this thirty-seven times. This practice is called ‘Paying Respect to the Three Origins with the Hand’;
- Then, use the index and middle fingers of both hands to massage the hollows behind your eyes, repeating thirty-seven times. This area is called ‘the Mansion of Glory and Radiance for True Persons’;
- After that, insert the index and middle fingers of your left hand into your nostrils and gently massage the inner nasal cavity thirty-seven times. This is called ‘Opening the Source of the Mountains’;
- Finally, stroke both ears with your hands.
When all these steps are completed, tap your teeth thirty-six times."

修行咒诅诀
太上四明，九门发精，
耳目玄彻，通真达灵，
天中之台，流气调平，
骄女云仪，眼瞳英明，
华聪晃朗，百度眇清，
保和上元，徘徊九成，
五脏植根，耳目自生，
天台郁素，柱梁不倾。
七魄澡炼，三魂安宁，
赤子携景，辄与我并，
有敢掩我耳目，太上当摧以流铃，
万凶消灭，所愿必成，
日月守门，心藏五星，
真皇所祝，群响敬听。
夫身者神之宅，神者身之器。若不安宅以全道，修身以养神，则精气为物，游魂为变，以成万类，宜常拘咒矣。故须存乎守一神器，研精道心，则众神备矣！邪气去矣！
《太上神宝经》曰：每日早起（早起，每至鸡鸣时也）。平坐，东向，或春夏东南，秋冬西北，任所宜。先以两手摩试面目；次将左手中指从眉逆拓上至发际，三七遍，此名为手朝三元；次将两手二指，三指，各摩眼后靥中，三七遍，此名为真人荣莹府，又将左手第二指，第三指入鼻孔，中摩三七过，名为开山源；又将两手捋耳。毕，叩齿三十六通。
