On Cultivating Spirit and Consolidating Qi

The entire text is divided into fourteen sections, including The Position of the Cauldron and Tripod, Reversing Yin and Yang, Yin and Yang in Youth and Old Age, Water and Fire Seeking Each Other, Metal and Wood Restricting Each Other, and The Return of the Five Elements. Each section briefly elaborates on the methods of Internal Alchemy (Neidan) cultivation based on the principles of Yin and Yang and Five Elements. Its alchemical method is rooted in the Wu Zhen Pian (Awakening to Truth), and is particularly similar to the annotations by Weng Baoguang and Chen Zhixu.
