Shangqing Crimson Heaven Three Qi, Jade Emperor Six Celestial Positions, Flying Guideline, Life-Controlling Great Record (Shangqing Dantian Sanqi Yuhuang Liuchen Feigang Siming Dalu), author unknown.

Judging from its content, it seems to have been written by Taoist priests of the Shangqing School during the Tang and Song dynasties.

It consists of one scroll and is included in the Shenfu Lei (Divine Talismans Category) of the Dongshen Bu (Divine Grotto Section) of the Daozang (Taoist Canon).

This text discusses the Dao of contemplating the Six True Beings of the Southern Dipper and practicing the "flying guideline and star-treading" ritual.

Practitioners must contemplate day and night the Six Stars of the Southern Dipper merging into their physical form, with the starlight permeating their body—filling their hands, feet, heart, and brain. After a long period of practice, the Six True Beings will send down their essence to refine the practitioner’s physical form, deliver their soul, and elevate their spirit to the Jade Purity Realm (Yuqing).

The text contains various talismans and divine images for use in practice, including the Void-Treading Talisman (Daokong Fu), the Top-of-Head Talisman (Dingzhong Fu), the Elbow Talisman (Zhoujian Fu), the Six-Heart-Contemplating Talisman (Cun Liuxin Fu), the Six Qi Talisman of the Southern Dipper (Nandou Liuqi Fu), the Seal of the Six True Beings and Nine Spirits of the Southern Dipper (Nandou Jiuling Liuzhen Zhuan), as well as the images of the Six True Beings of the Southern Dipper and the Eight Jade Maidens.
