Yunji Qiqian (Seven Slips of the Cloud Satchel)
Compiled by Zhang Junfang, a Taoist priest of the Northern Song Dynasty.
According to records in History of the Song Dynasty·Bibliography and Comprehensive Examination of Literature and Documents, the original version consisted of 120 volumes.

The current version in the Taoist Canon (Daozang) has 122 volumes and is included in the Taixuan Section.
According to Zhang Junfang's preface at the beginning of the compilation and History of the Three Reigns of the Song Dynasty·Bibliography quoted in Volume 224 of Comprehensive Examination of Literature and Documents: In the fifth year of Dazhong Xiangfu in the Northern Song Dynasty (1012), Zhang Junfang was ordered to preside over the compilation of the Taoist Canon.
By the spring of the third year of Tianxi (1019), he completed Treasure of the Heavenly Palace of the Great Song Dynasty, totaling 4,565 volumes, which were copied into seven sets and presented to the emperor.
Zhang Junfang then extracted the essence and compiled it into 110 volumes of Yunji Qiqian, submitting it to Emperor Zhenzong for reading at night.
The entire book covers contents such as the purpose of Taoist scriptures and teachings, the hierarchy of immortals and true beings, techniques for body refinement and health preservation, internal and external alchemy methods, formulas, secret instructions, talismans and diagrams, guarding Gengshen (a Taoist practice), corpse dissolution and other miscellaneous arts, as well as eulogies, poems, and biographies of immortals. It is divided into 52 categories.
Most of the content is excerpts or full records of original Taoist texts, compiled by category without additional comments. It quotes more than 700 kinds of Taoist books and contains about 10,000 narrative entries. Zhang Junfang claimed: "Practicing it can lead one to wander in the clouds and sky; reading it can exhaust the relationship between heaven and humans."
General Catalog of the Four Treasuries also praised the book: "Its classification is clear, its purpose is roughly complete, and it covers all outlines and standards. The essence of the Taoist Canon is also roughly embodied in it."
It is an important material for the study of Taoist classics, doctrines, techniques, and history before the Northern Song Dynasty.
