Divination of the 64 Hexagrams from the I Ching Lot 12

Hexagram Name:

Pi Hexagram [Middle-Middle Hexagram] Disconnection and Impasse

Image Interpretation:

A tiger falling into a pit, unspeakable suffering; advancing is easy, but retreating is difficult. Plans and hopes fail to go as one wishes, with troubles involving illness and verbal disputes.

This hexagram is a combination of two different trigrams (Kun below, Qian above), with a structure opposite to that of the Tai Hexagram. It symbolizes yang energy rising and yin energy descending, leading to a disconnection between heaven and earth, and a blockage in the flow of all things. Tai and Pi are "reverse hexagrams" of each other, indicating that extreme prosperity leads to decline (Tai turns to Pi) and extreme decline leads to renewal (Pi turns to Tai), with each being the cause of the other.

Career:

Falling into adversity, the career is in a stage of decline, with much misfortune. Frustrated by interference from petty people and unable to achieve aspirations, one faces setbacks. One should adhere to the right path, avoid colluding with petty people, unite with like-minded individuals, and protect oneself while waiting for opportunities. Maintain self-confidence, be cautious and vigilant, and the situation will surely improve, eventually leading to career success.

Business:

Facing strong competitors, one is in a disadvantageous position. Lack of information causes significant losses. One should be extremely careful and prudent, maintain a defensive stance, and wait for favorable opportunities to develop one’s marketing business.

Pursuit of Fame:

The conditions are not yet mature. With further efforts and hard work, and with the help of others, one’s ideals can be realized.

Travel:

There will be many troubles and difficulties. It is advisable to postpone or advance the trip.

Marriage and Love:

Unexpected complications are likely to arise, even setbacks and changes. If both parties are full of confidence, a good outcome will emerge.

Decision-Making:

The person is intelligent, shrewd, and diligent, but neglects interpersonal relationships. Coupled with the exclusion of petty people, fate may bring misfortune. However, with a strong will, a fighting spirit, and the ability to overcome shortcomings, one will eventually accomplish great things, despite the high cost paid.
