Divination of the 64 Hexagrams from the I Ching Lot 29

Hexagram Name:
Kan Gua [Unfavorable Hexagram] Acting in Peril and Using Peril

Image Interpretation:
A bright moon shines on the water, with only its shadow visible but no trace of the real thing. A fool tries to reach down to take it as treasure, but gropes around in vain. This hexagram is formed by the overlapping of two identical trigrams (Kan below and Kan above). Kan represents water and peril; the overlapping of two Kans signifies danger upon danger, with obstacles piled up. It is like a single yang line trapped between two yin lines. Fortunately, the yin is empty and the yang is solid, so sincerity and trust can penetrate through. Though surrounded by numerous dangers and difficulties, it is precisely the time to reveal the brilliance of human nature.

Career:
You are trapped in layers of difficulties and dangers, with risks emerging one after another. You must not take reckless risks, nor should you sit idle and wait for doom. Instead, you should adopt a positive attitude, strive to create conditions, change your situation, and turn danger into safety. It is essential to be sincere and down-to-earth, full of confidence, not seeking luck by chance, and not shrinking from hardships. You should calmly observe and wait for changes, use wisdom to break through dangerous situations, and turn crisis into safety.
