Divination of the 64 Hexagrams from the I Ching Lot 6

paulpeng
Hexagram Name:
Song Hexagram [Middling to Inauspicious Hexagram] Be Cautious in Disputes and Abstain from Litigation

Image Interpretation:
When there are things on one's mind, everything is difficult to do; it is just like two people competing for the same path. Both want to take the lead under the rain—who would be willing to let the other go first? This hexagram is an overlap of different trigrams (Kan below and Qian above). Contrary to the Xu hexagram, they are "mutual inverse hexagrams". Qian represents steadfastness and vigor, while Kan represents danger and 陷. The opposition between firmness and danger, between vigor and danger, is sure to give rise to disputes and litigation. Litigation is not a good thing, so one must be extremely cautious and vigilant.

Career:
Initially, things go smoothly with profits to be made, but then setbacks follow. One must be alert and extremely cautious, not clinging to one's own opinions, and make every effort to avoid getting involved in litigation disputes. Instead of that, it is better to step back and give way to others, seek reconciliation, and abide by justice, which can avoid unexpected disasters. If one gets involved in litigation, even if they win, they will end up losing in the end, with the losses outweighing the gains.

Business:
Harmony brings wealth, and suffering losses is a blessing. Never pursue ill-gotten gains. Adhere to the principles of fairness, justice, and mutual benefit in business negotiations, and try to avoid conflicts. In this way, there will be good results.

Pursuit of Fame:
Unfavorable. One still lacks the strength to compete. They should stick to purity, endure and encourage themselves, strive for self-improvement, and never be eager to show off their superiority. Rely on the help of people in positions of influence to get through difficulties as soon as possible.

Travel:
There will be many unexpected changes on the way; it is advisable to postpone the trip to another day.

Marriage:
Although it may not be entirely satisfactory, the match is still appropriate. If both parties understand each other, it is not impossible. They should handle life in a gentle manner.

Decision-Making:
One is aggressive and discontented with the status quo, striving to change their fate and surpass others. They are intelligent, quick-witted, and have the help of noble people. However, they lack perseverance, tend to show off their sharpness, offend others, and bring about the disaster of litigation. It is advisable to acknowledge reality, let things take their natural course, be content with what one has, and know when to stop. By learning lessons and taking warning, one can achieve success and fame.

经商

和气生财,吃亏是福。切勿追求不义之财。商业谈判坚持公正公平、互利的原则,尽量避免发生冲突。这样,会有好结果。
