The Grand Penitential Liturgy of the Jade Repository FULL NAME IS
The Ritual Text of Repentance for the Taishang Lingbao Yugui Mingzhen Grand Retreat
Compiled by Taoist priest Du Guangting in the late Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties, it is included in the Dongxuan Section (Mysterious Grotto Section) of the Daozang under the category of Rituals and Ceremonies.

The content of this text is roughly the same as The Ritual Text of Repentance for the Taishang Lingbao Yugui Mingzhen Retreat. Both sequentially pay homage to the Heavenly Lords and divine beings in all ten directions, repent for countless mistakes committed in past and present lives, pray for the elimination of karmic sins, and wish for the prosperity of the state, the emperor’s longevity, blessings for both the living and the deceased, and peace throughout the world. After attaining enlightenment, practitioners will ascend to the formless realm and unite with the Dao.
However, compared with the previous text, this one lists more titles of the Heavenly Lords and divine beings to be worshipped, and the wording of the repentance verses also differs.
