Canon for Saving the Damned
The scripture is attributed to the Perfect Ones of the Seven Primitives, and is also known as The Authentic Scripture of the Seven Primitives. It teaches the method of redeeming sinful ghosts and departed souls in the Fengdu realm, and saving all living beings.
The practice requires that when heaven is visited by disasters, plagues, or warfare, one should establish a ritual altar of the Seven Primitives, present memorials, wear talismans, recite incantations, summon divine beings to descend, expel ghosts, and eliminate calamities.
