This classic is a divination text. It contains methods for astrology and Dipper worship, divination by wind, divination by the Six Jia and Five Mao, divination by the sun and moon, and others. It mainly predicts changes in weather and shifts in human society and affairs based on the movements and variations of celestial phenomena—including stars and constellations, the Milky Way, the sun and moon, as well as the Six Jia and Five Mao.
The scripture is written in parallel prose style, with annotations attached later. The text cites ancient divination works such as The Divine Pivot and Spiritual Reins Classic, The Xuanyuan Shi Liuren Divination Classic, Methods for Divining Years, Months, Days and Hours, and The Feeling Talisman.
