It consists of two volumes and is included in the Zhengyi Section of The Daozang.

This book excerpts and compiles theories of cultivation from selected Taoist texts, including Daily Use Instructions, Guan Yinzi, Book of Transformations by Tan Qiao, Treatise on the Mysterious Principle by Wu Yun, Song of the Great Dao and Discourse on the Mind by Zhang Jixian, On Sitting in Meditation and Inscription on Sitting in Forgetfulness by Wang Zhe, Song of the Great Dao by Immortaless Cao, Collected Works of Returning to the True by Wang Jie, Treatise on the Mysterious Pass Revealing Secrets by Bai Yuchan, and Plain Words of the Real Man Danyang by Ma Yu.

The main purpose of the entire text is to expound theories such as calming the mind and preserving it, nourishing qi and perfecting spirit, recognizing the mind and seeing nature, returning to the root and restoring life.

Paul Peng is a Zhengyi Taoist priest from Longhu Mountain, Jiangxi — the ancestral home of the Celestial Masters' tradition. Ordained at 25 after a dream from the Celestial Master, he has practiced for 25 years under Master Zeng Guangliang. He is one of the curators of this store, which is officially authorized by Tianshi Fu. All items are consecrated at the temple by the resident priest team.
