Commentary on Longevity Scripture
The author selected twenty-nine Taoist texts such as Scripture of Purity and Tranquility, Scripture of Hidden Symbols, and Embryonic Breathing Scripture, as well as poems and quotations on cultivation and longevity from more than forty Taoist masters including Heavenly Master of the Han Dynasty, Lü Chunyang, and Bai Yuchan, compiling them into a single work. The collected poems and prose cover embryonic breathing, Daoyin, cultivating the mind and nurturing nature, and Internal Alchemy practices. Generally, it focuses on calming the mind and purifying intentions, eliminating desires and nourishing the spirit, with daoyin and Qi circulation techniques as supplements.

Paul Peng is a Zhengyi Taoist priest from Longhu Mountain, Jiangxi — the ancestral home of the Celestial Masters' tradition. Ordained at 25 after a dream from the Celestial Master, he has practiced for 25 years under Master Zeng Guangliang. He is one of the curators of this store, which is officially authorized by Tianshi Fu. All items are consecrated at the temple by the resident priest team.
