It is not included in the version of The Daozang, but there exists a three-volume version in the Siku Quanshu (Complete Library of the Four Treasuries).

Concordance Chaptered Commentary

The book divides the Cantong Qi into thirty-five chapters and provides annotations for them. The author holds that most of the alchemical books handed down in the world are unreliable, and those who obtain the true secrets must take the Cantong Qi and Wuzhen Pian (Awakening to Reality) as the primary classics. His annotations mostly expound the theories of the Southern Sect of the Internal Alchemy School in the Song and Yuan dynasties, taking the innate true unified Qi as the foundation of the elixir, regarding the refinement and integration of yin-yang, Kan and Li as the essential secrets of elixir formation, and also elaborating on the purport of clarifying the mind and perceiving the nature. The Siku Tiyao (Annotated Bibliography of the Complete Library of the Four Treasuries) praises it, stating that "the interpretations provided are all clear and lucid"—a comment that reflects the work’s alignment with the core doctrines of Taoism internal cultivation.
