Guiguzi Celestial Marrow Talismans

The content of this book is quite heterogeneous, focusing on Taoist Talismans and incantation arts, supplemented by the ingestion of alchemical elixirs. The first volume is Guiguzi's Secret Celestial Script, which contains more than ten types of talismans including the Talisman of Concealing Form and Body, the Talisman of Summoning Gods into the Chamber, the Talisman of Soul Wandering in the Three Realms, the Talisman of Faking the Four Great Elements with Fire, and the Five Faking Talismans. It is said that writing and ingesting these talismans in accordance with the methods, together with reciting incantations, enables one to conceal one's form and achieve bodily dissolution, and to command ghosts and gods at will. The volume also includes The Method of Praying for Sacrifices to Blessing Gods for Efficacious Responses, which records the Heavenly Jia Talisman, the Earthly Jia Talisman, the Human Jia Talisman, the Ghost Jia Talisman, the Clarity of Sight Talisman, the Concealment Talisman, the Tomb-Carving Talisman and others. It states that writing these talismans and reciting incantations allows one to foresee natural disasters, discover hidden treasures, search for people and send away ghosts, and even see gods and capture thieves.

The second volume contains The Method of Blending Heaven and Shifting Earth, which records twelve types of divine seal diagrams such as those of heaven, earth and man, dragon, tiger, wind and cloud, and the superior forms of metal, wood, water and fire corresponding to the Five Elements. It is said that using these divine seals can subdue heaven and shake the earth, defeat enemies and secure victory, tame dragons and subdue tigers, and summon clouds and stir up winds.
