Hagiography of Miracles of Perfected Tixuan
True Man Tixuan, Wang Chu (1142–1217), was a famous Taoist priest of the Jin Dynasty and one of the Seven True Lords of the North of the Quanzhen Dao. He traveled between Ji and Lu for years, practicing Internal Alchemy and cultivating the Dao, with miraculous abilities to heal diseases, resolve grievances, dispel disasters and expel evil spirits. His biographies are recorded in Ganshui Xianyuan Lu, Jinlian Zhengzong Ji, Qizhen Nianpu and other Taoist works. This book was written by his disciple, recording seventeen miraculous stories of his life. The text mentions "the disciple Wang Zhijian", who is presumably the author of this work, compiling the master’s divine deeds to pass on the Quanzhen Dao’s teachings.
