Inner Alchemy Formula of Ma Ziran
This text contains a seven-character ancient poem eulogizing Internal Alchemy (Neidan). The author claims to have been fortunate enough to meet Liu Hailong (a famous Taoist immortal) and receive the secret instructions for the Golden Elixir. The secret text states: "The Jade Fluid Returning Elixir exists in everyone," and "It is inherently within the human body—do not seek it externally."
The key to cultivating the elixir lies solely in calming thoughts and uniting essence with spirit, ensuring the original spirit remains undispersed and lead and mercury (alchemical metaphors) are mutually harmonious. When the Nine-Cycle Elixir is accomplished, one will naturally attain longevity and become an immortal. The specific cultivation methods are not elaborated in detail.
