Composed by Jiang Dao of the Song Dynasty.
Consisting of twenty volumes, it is included in the Yujue (Jade Commentary) category of the Dongshen Section of the Daozang (Daoist Canon).

There is another version included in the Siku Quanshu (Complete Library of the Four Treasuries), which is divided into eight volumes.

This commentary explains the purport of the Liezi according to its paragraphs. The Siku Quanshu Zongmu Tiyao (Annotated Bibliography of the Complete Library of the Four Treasuries) comments on this work that it "breaks free from philological exegesis, expresses the author’s own insights, and often captures the implied meaning beyond the words" and that "generally speaking, its language is elegant and its conception is profound and transcendent".
