Leng Xuzi's Commentary on the Dingguan Jing
Also known as the Scripture of Stable Contemplation.
The original text does not specify its author. According to the postscript at the end of the volume, it was presumably written by Leng Xuzi, a Taoist priest of the Tang Dynasty.

Leng Xuzi's Commentary on the Dingguan Jing
This scripture was already cited in Volume 19 of Du Guangting’s Comprehensive Sage Meaning of the Dao De Jing, and also recorded in Zhao Xibian’s Postscript to the Catalog of Books in the Junzhai Studio.
The surviving version consists of one volume, included in the Yujue (Jade Secrets) category of The Dongxuan Section in The Daozang.
Its full text is also preserved in Volume 17 of Yunji Qiqian (Seven Bamboo Tablets of the Cloudy Satchel). Both the scripture and its commentary are the work of a single author.
Falsely attributed to the Heavenly Lord instructing True Person Zuo Xuan, the scripture expounds the path of cultivating stable mindfulness and contemplative wisdom. It teaches practitioners to abandon external entanglements, eliminate thoughts and desires, calm the mind for internal observation, and realize the emptiness of one’s inherent nature. With prolonged practice, one will naturally attain the Dao, become a true immortal, and achieve complete wisdom—illuminating all realms with perfect clarity, and embodying the totality of all dharmas.
