Numinous Treasure Six Ding Secrets

Falsely attributed to the transmission by the Six Ding Jade Girls, it is verified to be a Taoist text of the Tang Dynasty.

Originally in three volumes, it was compiled into a single volume and included in the Various Arts category of The Dongxuan Section of The Daozang.

Numinous Treasure Six Ding Secrets

The book records the methods of offering sacrificial rituals to the Six Ding Jade Girls, the talisman method for sacrificing to the Six Ding, the invisibility method system of the Six Ding, the Silent Wanyi Method of the Six Ding, as well as various Taoist Talismans, incantation formulas and divine seals. It generally elaborates on Taoist miscellaneous arts such as summoning the Six Ding Jade Girls through sacrificial rituals and contemplation to divine good and bad fortune, conceal one's form and go into hiding, ascend to heaven and achieve bodily dissolution, and slay evil spirits and subdue demons. Such alchemical arts originated from the ancient Yin-Yang and Five Elements scholars.
