This text is a compilation of excerpts from various Taoist scriptures, with a diverse range of content centered primarily on early Taoist magical arts such as invoking deities to subdue ghosts, expelling evil spirits and curing illnesses. It records Taoist practices including swallowing talismans, wearing amulet scrolls, contemplating the stars and constellations, performing the Yu Step, and eliminating the Three Corpses.
