Author unknown, and it is presumably a Taoist text of the Pure Brightness Sect from the Song Dynasty and Yuan Dynasty.

It is included in the Methods category of the Dongxuan Section of the Daozang.

Precepts for Entering the Pure Brightness Path

This text elaborates on the cultivation stages for disciples learning the Pure Brightness Dharma to enter the Dao, as well as the essential tenets of Pure Brightness Taoism. It requires the Pure Brightness disciples to wholeheartedly practice three virtues: filial piety and loyalty, body refinement, and salvation of all beings, and forbids them from indulging in sexual immorality, flattery and deceit, or showing disrespect for the Dao and neglecting the Dharma. It also mandates that disciples keep a small notebook to record their daily deeds and reflect on any acts that go against their conscience. The text lists ten precepts that those who receive the Pure Brightness Dharma must abide by. Its stylistic structure is similar to The Yellow Silk Scripture’s Entry into the Dao Section at the beginning of The Lingbao Pure Brightness Yellow Silk Scripture.
