Sacred Lots of Mysterious Heaven

It is a single volume included in the Supplementary Daozang, a continuation of The Daozang. This work is a book for divination by drawing lots, containing forty-nine entries of "The Spirit Lots of the Mysterious Emperor's Responsive Manifestations". Each entry is divided into eight categories: the Sacred Will, Aspirations, Family Home, Marriage, Lost Objects, Legal Matters, Travelers, and Illness Divination. Each category is accompanied by a seven-character jueju (quatrain) and an explanatory note titled "Interpretation". Diviners interpret the meaning of the lots and predict good or bad fortune based on these contents. Preceding the main text are the imperial eulogy by Emperor Renzong of the Song Dynasty and the rituals for drawing lots, which are associated with the beliefs of Zhenwu, the revered Taoist deity of the north.
