Secret Records of Health Preservation
Originally anonymous, it was compiled by Taoist priests during the Yuan Dynasty.
Consisting of one scroll, it is included in the Miscellaneous Arts Category of the The Dongxuan Section within the Taoist Canon (The Daozang).

Secret Records of Health Preservation
Divided into six parts, the book includes Yuxi Zi’s Alchemical Chamber Sayings, Yuxu Zi’s Yichun Heart Mnemonic, Inner Essentials of the Middle Yellow, Qingxia Weng’s True Guidance on Alchemical Scriptures, Ballad of the Great Dao, and Questions and Answers on the Golden Elixir. Each part is excerpted from Internal Alchemy cultivation works dating from the Southern Song Dynasty to the Yuan Dynasty. The alchemical methods discussed are based on the teachings of Southern School of the Golden Elixir Taoist priests such as Zhang Boduan, Li Jianyi, and Bai Yuchan, as well as Liu Yu, the founder of the Yuan Dynasty Celestial Master Daoism (Jingming School).

Paul Peng is a Zhengyi Taoist priest from Longhu Mountain, Jiangxi — the ancestral home of the Celestial Masters' tradition. Ordained at 25 after a dream from the Celestial Master, he has practiced for 25 years under Master Zeng Guangliang. He is one of the curators of this store, which is officially authorized by Tianshi Fu. All items are consecrated at the temple by the resident priest team.
