This text is also one of the four classics of the Shangfang Zhenyuan Sect during the Jin Dynasty, and is included in the Taiping Section of The Daozang.
The scripture consists of just over three hundred characters, divided into three chapters.
The first chapter advocates Confucian loyalty, filial piety, benevolence and compassion, and upholding the way of centrality and uprightness.
The middle and lower chapters teach the abandonment of attachment to forms and appearances, purity and tranquility, enlightenment and wisdom, embracing the One and guarding the Qi spirit, the path of cultivating immortality and realizing truth.
