Supreme Clarity Daoyin Scripture
The text consists of five parts: The Internal Method of Prudent Cultivation, Wang Qiao’s Daoyin Diagrams, Peng Zu’s Daoyin Diagrams, Technique of Refining Qi, and Technique of Swallowing Qi. The first part, The Internal Method of Prudent Cultivation, is slightly similar to works such as Scripture of Daoyin and Health Preservation from the Supreme Purity and Mr. Ning’s Method of Daoyin and Health Preservation recorded in Volume 34 of Yunji Qiqian (Seven Bamboo Slips of the Cloudy Satchel).
Believed to have been originally compiled by scholars of the The Tang Dynasty, the text was later supplemented by subsequent generations, integrating various schools of daoyin (guided movement) and massage-based health-preserving practices into a single work.
