Supreme Clarity Scripture of Qi Regulation
The first half of the text refutes various traditional qi cultivation methods passed down from earlier generations, such as the distinction between "vital qi" and "dead qi" before and after midday, visualizing the vital qi of the five directions, holding one’s breath to attack illnesses when ill, and retaining qi without letting it escape. The second half describes techniques including qi regulation, qi absorption, qi tempering, qi holding, and qi surrendering. Its core tenet lies in practicing embryonic breathing and qi cultivation to eliminate diseases and preserve health.
