Originally attributed to "Compiled by Mr. Zhenbai of the Liang Dynasty (Tao Hongjing), Annotations by Li Chunfeng, Imperial Astronomer of the Tang Dynasty".
One volume, included in the Various Arts category of The Dongxuan Section of The Daozang.
It features a preface written by Li Chunfeng in the sixth year of the Zhenguan reign (632 AD), which states that this book is an ancient text from the Qi and Liang dynasties with exquisitely crafted Taoist Talismans. The book is divided into three parts of talismans:
Supreme Red Writing On Three Talismans
The first is The Inner Eight Trigrams Talisman of Good and Bad Omens, containing eight divine talismans of the Eight Trigrams. It is said that ingesting these talismans and reciting incantations can summon divine immortals to reveal good and bad fortune. It also includes the "Master's Jade Girl Soul-Entrancing Method for Dreamwalking in All Realms at Night", which records twelve incantation formulas, claiming that reciting these incantations can make one dreamwalk through various realms.
The second is The Supreme Mysterious and Spirit-Communicating Talisman, which records the incantations of the sacred beings of the Five Directions, the divine incantations of the Five Directions, and the divine seals of the Five Directions. It is said that reciting the incantations and using the seals enables the practice of various magical arts, including invisibility and communicating with the divine.
The third is The Supreme Mysterious Thousand Gold Talisman, containing the Twelve Hour Talismans. It is said that ingesting these talismans, invoking divine immortals, and writing the General Talisman, the Immortal-Accepting Talisman and other such talismans allow one to converse with the gods, pray for divine protection, beg for judgments of good and bad fortune, or seek official rank and wealth—all wishes made shall be fulfilled.
