The Annotated Manuscript of Treasury Subtleties 道德真经藏室纂微手钞

Paul Peng

The Annotated Manuscript of Treasury Subtleties

Composed by Xue Zhixuan.

Originally consisting of two volumes, the first volume is lost. It is included in the Yujue (Jade Commentary) category of the Dongshen Section of the Daozang (Daoist Canon).
This work was written to elaborate on Chen Jingyuan’s Daode Zhenjing Cangshi Zanwei.

For the ancient texts cited without specifying sources in Chen’s work, this book identifies their origins, thus serving as a useful auxiliary reference for reading Chen Jingyuan’s work.

Unfortunately, it is incomplete: it begins with Chapter 38 of the Laozi and ends with Chapter 48.
