The Bian Benxue 卞本学

Bian Benxue, a native of the Qing Dynasty. His courtesy name was Ding, and his Taoist title was Fuyang. He was a Master of the Huanyun Altar of the Longmen School.
The Torch of the Jueyun Taoist Tradition Passed Down records: Benxue embraced Taoism in his youth and received Taoist teachings under Master Chen Muzhai.

Later, he was summoned to the capital to preside over Taoist sacrificial rituals and prayers, earning great fame for a time.
The founding and revival of the Huanyun Altar relied entirely on Benxue's efforts.
