The Cai Tiegeng 蔡铁耕
Paul PengShare
Cai Tiegeng was a native of Wujiang during the Qing Dynasty.
He was erudite and proficient in literary works. He studied under Guo Yangxiao, learning the art of longevity cultivation and practicing the Jiuzhuan Gong (Nine-Turn Cultivation Technique—a sophisticated Taoist inner alchemy practice).
He traveled to numerous famous mountains, his footprints covering nearly half of the country.

As recorded in Changchun Guan Zhi (Annals of Changchun Taoist Temple): "Later, Tiegeng went to Helin Daoyuan (Crane Grove Taoist Abbey). Since he shared the same clan with Cai Tianyi, a Taoist master specializing in precepts (lvshi), he settled there to continue his cultivation."
He authored Wenchang Dijun Yinzhi Wen Shitie (Poetic Calligraphy Scroll of the "Yinzhi Wen" by Emperor Wenchang), which has been passed down to later generations.
