Cai Zhiyi was a native of Weiyang (present-day Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province) during the Jin and Yuan dynasties.

His courtesy name was Sun'an. He studied under Li Daochun and practiced the Taoist doctrines of the Quanzhen School.

After Li Daochun passed away, in the 10th year of the Dade reign of the Yuan Dynasty (1306), Cai Zhiyi compiled and organized Li Daochun's works into a book, which was then passed down to later generations.

Paul Peng is a Zhengyi Taoist priest from Longhu Mountain, Jiangxi — the ancestral home of the Celestial Masters' tradition. Ordained at 25 after a dream from the Celestial Master, he has practiced for 25 years under Master Zeng Guangliang. He is one of the curators of this store, which is officially authorized by Tianshi Fu. All items are consecrated at the temple by the resident priest team.
