The Cao Gujiu 张元化
Paul PengShare
Cao Gujiu was a figure of the Northern Song Dynasty.
He was also known as Gu Xiu; his original name was Jingxiu, and his literary name was Hunchengzi.

By nature, he was quiet and tranquil, and had no desire to pursue an official career. Determined to settle in the cliffs and valleys to cultivate his moral character and nourish his vitality, he thus changed his name to his current one (Cao Gujiu).
He claimed to have met the two immortals Zhong Liquan and Lü Dongbin, who taught him the secret essentials of the Huanzhen Golden Elixir. Before long, he attained the Dao (Tao).
