The Celestial Golden Florescence Scripture 太上金华天尊救劫护命妙经

Also known as The Text of the Jade Emperor of the Heavenly Firmament.

Author unknown. Judging from its content and wording, it was seemingly compiled during the Song and Yuan dynasties. It consists of one scroll and is included in the Zhengyi Section of the Daoist Canon.

The scripture is written in five-character rhymed verses and is not long in length. Its main theme states that the Golden Flower Heavenly Lord, by the order of the Primordial August Jade Emperor, rescues all beings from catastrophes. All those who recite and uphold this scripture will be guarded by celestial deities such as the Star Lord of the Seven Primordials, the Star Lord of Po Jun, the Great Star Lord of Tian Gang, and the Great Immortal Lord of Thunderclaps. They shall be freed from disasters, attain the true Dao through cultivation, and transcend the Three Realms.
