The Chapter Commentary on Zhuangzi
Composed by Chen Jingyuan of the Northern Song Dynasty, it was roughly completed in the Jiazi year of the Yuanfeng reign period (1084). This work consists of fourteen volumes and is included in the Yujue (Jade Commentary) category of the Dongshen Section of the Daozang (Daoist Canon).

The Chapter Commentary on Zhuangzi
The book divides the thirty-three chapters of the Zhuangzi into two hundred and fifty-five sections. According to Chen Jingyuan’s own preface: "Titles are assigned according to the content of each section, which is called chapter and sentence annotation. Under each chapter, pronunciations, characters, meanings are explained, and related matters are annotated, which is designated as chapter meaning". This is exactly the style and structure of this book. It possesses certain value for the collation and textual research of the Zhuangzi.
