Chen Litou (1900-1980) was a renowned abbot of Quanzhou Dongyue Temple. He was born into a Taoist priest family.
In 1954, he prepared for the establishment of the Quanzhou Taoist Association. In 1957, he attended the inaugural meeting of the National Taoist Association of China and was elected as a director.

In 1958, the Quanzhou Taoist Association was founded, and he was elected as its first president.
