The Chen Mingyuan 陈明远

Chen Mingyuan (1841-1922) was a native of Sichuan Province.
He became a Taoist Priest at Heming Mountain in Sichuan in his childhood and later moved to Weibao Mountain in Menghua, Yunnan Province, serving as the abbot of Yuhuang Pavilion.

He was proficient in Taoist scriptures and Taoist martial arts, with more than a hundred disciples, among whom Wang Zhiguo, Xiong Zhikuan, and Zhu Zhiming were the most renowned.
