Chen Xingding lived during the Zhizheng era of the Yuan Dynasty. His courtesy name was Ciyi, and he was a Taoist monk at Yuxu Guan (Yuxu Taoist Temple) on Xiandu Mountain.
He wrote Records of Xiandu Mountain, a work in two volumes.
