Chen Yubin was a native of Dinghai (now part of Zhejiang Province) during the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, and his courtesy name was Tianni.

He was once a zhusheng (a student who had passed the imperial examination at the county level and was qualified to study at a government school). When the Ming Dynasty fell, he wailed bitterly in the wilderness, then renounced secular life and became a Taoist Priest.

Later, he attained profound mastery of Taoist doctrines and practices, earning him the title "Immortal Chen" among people. He was also skilled in poetry and painting, and his works have been passed down to later generations.

Paul Peng is a Zhengyi Taoist priest from Longhu Mountain, Jiangxi — the ancestral home of the Celestial Masters' tradition. Ordained at 25 after a dream from the Celestial Master, he has practiced for 25 years under Master Zeng Guangliang. He is one of the curators of this store, which is officially authorized by Tianshi Fu. All items are consecrated at the temple by the resident priest team.
