The Comprehensive Companion to Zhuangzi
Compiled by Jiao Hong of the Ming Dynasty.
Consisting of eight volumes, it is included in the Xu Daozang (Supplement to the Daoist Canon).
There is another version included in the Siku Quanshu (Complete Library of the Four Treasuries), also in eight volumes.

The Comprehensive Companion to Zhuangzi
This work is a collected commentary on the Zhuangzi, compiling annotations from twenty-two scholars including Guo Xiang, Lü Jifu, Chen Jingyuan, Wang Fang, Lin Xiyi, Chu Boxiu, Tang Shunzhi, Lu Xixing and Liu Chenweng. It also quotes more than ten other ancient texts, with passages from Jiao Hong’s own work Bicheng (Random Notes) appended at the end. The author argues that Zhuangzi’s relation to Laozi is analogous to Mencius’s relation to Confucius; the essential purport of Laozi and Zhuangzi lies in "following nature", that is, accommodating one’s temperament and conforming to spontaneity.
Following the main text, there is one volume of Fulu (Appendix), which collects biographies of Zhuangzi and six discourses on Zhuangzi by scholars such as Ruan Ji, Wang Anshi and Su Shi. There is also one volume of Zhuangzi Quewu (Errors and Omissions in the Zhuangzi), which transcribes the collated and annotated text of the Zhuangzi by Chen Jingyuan.
