Dachengzi is a legendary figure from the time of Shennong (the Yan Emperor).
He was also known as Chuan Yuzi.
According to Volume 2 of Lishi Zhenxian Tidao Tongjian (Comprehensive Mirror of True Immortals Through the Ages Who Embodied the Dao), Dachengzi taught the Inner Text of the Earth Emperor in Jiyin. He instructed people in the way of valuing life, promoted the cultivation of grains, harmonized and combined herbal medicines, and composed Taiyi Yuanjing Jing (The Scripture of the Primordial Essence of the Great Unity) in thirty-six volumes.

Paul Peng is a Zhengyi Taoist priest from Longhu Mountain, Jiangxi — the ancestral home of the Celestial Masters' tradition. Ordained at 25 after a dream from the Celestial Master, he has practiced for 25 years under Master Zeng Guangliang. He is one of the curators of this store, which is officially authorized by Tianshi Fu. All items are consecrated at the temple by the resident priest team.
