Dai Qizong was an internal alchemy practitioner during the Yuan Dynasty.

He strongly advocated the practice of Yin-Yang Dual Cultivation (a method in Taoist internal alchemy that emphasizes harmonizing Yin and Yang energies). He collated and revised Weng Baoguang’s Annotations on the Wu Zhen Pian (The Book of Realizing Truth), enabling the work to circulate widely.

He authored Annotations and Commentaries on the Wu Zhen Pian by Real Person Ziyang, a work in eight volumes. This book was included in the Daozang (the Taoist Canon, a collection of Taoist scriptures and texts).

During the Zhishun era (1330–1332), he wrote A Discourse on the Wu Zhen Pian. In this work, he explained the origin and development of the Internal Alchemy School, arguing that Zhang Boduan (the author of Wu Zhen Pian) passed down his teachings to Guangyi Zi (Liu Yongnian), who then transmitted them to Weng Baoguang.
