Paul PengShare
During the late Song and early Yuan dynasties, Dong Chuqian was a Taoist monk at Mount Longhu in Jiangxi Province.
Originally, he held the title of "Dharma Master of Guanfu (Observing Restitution), Subtle Tranquility, and Spiritual Enlightenment," and concurrently served as the Daolu (Taoist Administrator) of Raozhou Circuit and the Zhuchi Tidian (Abbot-Superintendent) of Wanan Palace in Ganzhou.

In the first year of the Huangqing reign (1312), by imperial edict, he was appointed as the Tidian Zhigong (Superintendent and Administrator) of the Grand Shangqing Zhengyi Wanshou Palace on Longhu Mountain, and was additionally entrusted with overseeing affairs of all temples and monasteries on the mountain.
