The True Grotto: The Hidden Text of the Divine Tiger of the Supreme
Also known as The Hidden Text of the Inner Truth of the Divine Tiger from the Jade Clarity.
As one of the early classic texts of the Shangqing School (Supreme Clarity School), it was probably compiled during the Eastern Jin Dynasty (317–420 CE).

This text has already been quoted in The True Declarations (Zhengao) and The Essential Secrets of the Supreme (Wushang Miyao).
The present version is included in the Zhengyi Bu (Orthodox Unity Section) of the Daozang (Taoist Canon), and excerpts of its content are also found in Volume 9 of The Seven Slips of the Clouds’ Satchel (Yunji Qiqian).
This text states that the Supreme Lord of the Dao (Taishang Daojun) transmitted to Li Shanyuan "the poems for summoning divine powers and the songs for destroying evil spirits and dispersing malicious auras," and the Heavenly Lord of the Supreme Mystery (Taiwei Tiandijun) transmitted to Li Shanyuan "the poems of golden truth and the songs of walking in emptiness" (a type of Taoist devotional song).
The text contains two long poems, both expounding on the Dao of summoning divine powers to subdue demons. It is claimed that "when you feel afraid at night, you only need to chant the poems in this text—then a thousand evil spirits will hide themselves, and you will feel as if you are staying with ten thousand people. When mountains and rivers hear this chant, they will all hold whips and bow in respect towards the direction of the sound."
