The Dongzhen Section 洞真部

The first section of the Three Caves in the classification system of Taoist scriptures.

Yunji Qiqian (Seven Tablets in a Cloudy Satchel), Volume 6: "Dongzhen (Grotto of Truth) gets its name for being spiritual, esoteric and undiluted; the teaching of Dongzhen takes the Heavenly Treasure Lord, the founder of the religion, as its manifestation, and the qi of the Primordial Jade Emperor of Hun Dong Tai Wu Yuan Gao Shang as its origin."

General Principles of Daozang Scripture Catalogue: Scriptures revealed by the Supreme Dharma King Yuanshi Tianzun are titled Dongzhen Scriptures.

All scriptures attributed to the circulation of Yuanshi Tianzun and those compiled by later generations under the pseudonym of Tianzun are included.
