Dongzhen Taishang Shanghuang Minji Dingzhen Yulu (The Jade Register of Confirming Truth in the People's Records of the Supreme Emperor of the Genuine Grotto)
One of the early classics of the Shangqing School, compiled approximately during the Northern and Southern Dynasties (420–589 CE).

It is recorded as "Taishang Shanghuang Ershisi Gaozhen Yulu" (The Jade Register of the Twenty-Four Supreme True Ones of the Supreme Emperor) in Shangqing Dadong Zhenjing Mu (Catalogue of the True Scripture of the Great Grotto of the Shangqing), which refers precisely to this text.
The scripture primarily elaborates on the methods of cultivation, stabilizing the mind, and entering the Dao. It asserts: "The essence of governing the mind lies in remorse. Whether stirring the heart, raising the eyes, turning the body, or settling in repose, one should cherish remorse without a moment’s neglect. Only then will the mind be stabilized; with a stabilized mind, one enters the Dao."
The text details that practitioners ought to constantly feel remorse for failing to repay the kindness of their parents, monarchs, masters, and friends, as well as for neglecting the cultivation of the human Dao. It exhorts people to wholeheartedly venerate the Three Jewels of the Dao, Scriptures, and Masters, and to receive the Shanghuang Minji Dingzhen Yuce (The Jade Tally of Confirming Truth in the People's Records of the Supreme Emperor). In this way, one can attain the Dao through the stabilization of the mind.
